We offer a number of different options for paying your bill so you can use whichever way is most convenient for you.

Direct Debit

Set up a direct debit payment and we'll deduct the amount owing from your bank account each month on the due date. It’s a simple, secure way to pay your bill on time each month. You can download a copy of the direct debit authority here and send us back the completed form to Just Energy, PO Box 10044 Dominion Road, Auckland 1446, New Zealand.

Automatic Fixed Payment

You can nominate to pay a fixed monthly amount by setting up a monthly automatic payment with your bank. This is an effective way to take control over your budget. If there’s still an amount owing when you receive your invoice, simply pay the outstanding balance by the due date. Automatic payments can be setup by using your bank’s internet banking facilities, or obtaining an automatic payment form from your bank.

Internet banking

Log on to your bank’s Internet banking service on or before the due date of your bill, and pay the amount shown on your bill.

Getting Set Up
Go to your bank’s website, register with their Internet banking service and select ‘Just Energy' as a payee/biller. If your bank does not have Just Energy set up as a bill payee, you’ll need these details to set this up:

  • Bank account name: Pulse Energy Alliance LP
  • Account number: 02-0108-0333798-029
  • Reference number: Use your 10 digit Just Energy consumer number which can be found on the front page of your bill at the top right hand side
  • Particulars: your initials and surname

Payment by Cheque / Post

Make your cheque out to Just Energy and post it to us, along with the remittance slip. Send your payment to: Just Energy, PO Box 10044, Dominion Road, Auckland 1446


Telephone Banking

Call your bank’s telephone banking service on or before the due date of your bill.

Getting Set Up

Call your bank and ask for Just Energy to be listed as a payee/biller on your telephone banking account. You’ll need to have your Just Energy consumer number to set this up and provide Just Energy’s bank account details as listed above.


Over the Counter at the Bank

You can pay your bill by making a deposit into Just Energy’s bank account at your nearest BNZ Bank.

All it takes is a few easy steps:

Fill out a blank deposit slip and remember to complete the reference section on the deposit slip. Please use your Just Energy consumer number (this can be located at the top right hand corner of your bill). This way we know the deposit is from you and we can deduct this payment from your account.

Online Billing

Just Energy’s new online billing registry enables customers to view their bills online from anywhere, at anytime. We believe it is important to have exceptional communication with our customers and we’d like to continue this practice but in an environmentally friendly manner.

Access to this website will enable you to:

  • View your invoices and statements online
  • Retrieve, forward or print the ones you want online
  • Change your address directly online
  • Retrieve an electronic version (pdf) of your invoices online.

Please note: If you would like to continue receiving your paper bills in the mail, then please be sure to untick the ‘Send my bills to my email address’ option and update in the ‘Change my details’ area.


Credit Card Payments

Using a credit card is a simple and secure way to pay your bill.

If you would like to make a one-off payment by credit card please phone our contact centre toll free on 0508 587 836 and they will take care of this over the phone for you. All you will need is your customer number and your Visa or MasterCard number handy.

If you would like to set up your credit card to automatically pay your bill on the due date each month please print, complete and post this Credit Card Payment Authority Form to Just Energy PO Box 10044, Dominion Road Auckland 1446, New Zealand. Please note that you will only need to fill out your Just Energy account details and Section 2 – Credit Card Authority.

We need up to 14 working days to set up an automatic credit card payment. You must continue to pay your energy bill using your usual payment method until you are notified that your Credit Card Authority Form has been processed and set up. Notification that your credit card will be used to process the payment will appear on your first bill payable by this method.

Once setup, the total amount of your invoice will be charged to your Visa or MasterCard each month on the payment due date. This is a simple and secure way to pay your bill and ensure that you receive your prompt payment discounts.
You can always call us up to two days before a bill is due, if you would like to cancel your credit card payment authority.

The name that will appear on the cardholder statement will be Pulse Energy.

Service fees:
A credit card surcharge fee will be charged and added to payments by credit card. The credit card surcharge fees are 1.30% for MasterCard and 1.05% for Visa.
